Sandy
Sandy has worked as the receptionist at 24th Street Clinic since 1998. She has six kids, several cats and four dogs! 

Kim
In July of 2008, She joined our team. Kim has 4 children and 2 pets, cat and a dog. Her free time is spent enjoying her family.

LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Andi  
Andi graduated from the Omaha College of Health Careers Veterinary Technician Program. She has been working with us since 1994 when we opened. Her special interest is with animal behavior.  Andi’s animal family consists of 3 cats (Chubs, Mulan, Oz), and 2 dogs (Daisy and Bubbles).  

Marisue 

Marisue graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program in Curtis, Nebraska. She has been working with us since 1995.  Marisue loves to share the outdoors with her husband, 3 boys, dog and horse.  Three cats round out her happy family.  She has a special interest in client education.

Loraynia
Started 6/12/2011; Went to school at Omaha College of Health Careers and has a love of surgery.

Angela
Graduated from Vatterott College in 2011, she will be licensed in the near future.

Kerry
She sarted December of 2011, She has worked in a few clinics including the Animal Emeregency Clinic here in Omaha.

Veterinary Assistants

She started with us in March of 2005 and is married with one boy

She started in February of 2009, she is our primary kennel assistant, making sure the boarders are well cared for.

Jessica
Started May of 2011, She is a prevet student at UNO.

She began with us February of 2011. She is a college student at Metro Tech.

Randi
She started March of 2010, she has two sons

Sara
After working at another clinic came to us July of 2009. She is married and has two daughters and works with us in the evenings.

Tiffany
She started with us September of 2011, she wants to go to school to be a Veterinary Technician.

Veterinarians
Dr. Kerry J. Dobson, DVM:  Owner and Veterinarian
She received her undergraduate degree from Midland Lutheran College and her DVM from the University of Missouri.   Dr. Dobson has a special interest in feline geriatric medicine.  She is allowed to live in the house of her three cats:  Boom Boom, Emily, and Peanut.   

Dr. Fatima "Nina" Johnson, DVM: 
Dr. Nina Johnson joined us in December of 2007. Nina was raised in northern California and in Kansas where she earned her doctorate (2006). Before joining us she worked at the Capitol Humane Society in Lincoln. Nina is interested in surgery and preventative healthcare to ensure a quality life for all of our patients and their families. Outside of the clinic, Nina is a member of Kokyo Taiko, a drum group out of Lincoln, and also enjoys Aikido, a type of Japanese martial arts, known as “the art of peace.” Nina’s animal family consists of four cats named Little One, Mr. Bianco, Sweet Pea, and Annie (Anakin).

 Dr. Kim Patera, DVM : 
Joined the 24th Street gang in September of 2006. Kim is from the Omaha area and earned her bachelors in Biology from UNO and then her Doctorate from Kansas State in 2005. Dentistry is of special interest to Kim and she is very excited to become an expert with our new digital dental x-ray machine. Kim is currently the only doctor that treats our pocket pet patients. 

Dr. Amy Wilson, DVM:                                                           
Dr. Amy Wilson joined the clinic in March of 2005.  Amy is an Iowa native who graduated in 2004 from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine.   Our head surgeon loves the outdoors and shares her home with her best dog in the world, Chloe.

Dr. Theresa Jack, DVM:
She joined us right out of Vet School in July of 2010. She enjoys Ferrets and pocket pets in general. Her goal is to become board certified in small mammals and exotics.

OTHER
Ty: 
Clinic Cat
Ty was an adoption cat who wanted to stay.  He loves to greet every one in the exam rooms, and doesn't realize that some dogs will hurt him. 

Charlie Stinkyweasle: Clinic Ferret
We adopted Charlie after our previous ferret past away. we enjoy Charlie he is a lot of fun and very curiouse!
