Dr. Richard Esherick
Owner, Veterinarian
I'd like to introduce myself to you and thank you for visiting our web site.
Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a veterinarian. After college I attended Ross University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation in 1989, I began my professional career at a large, six DVM 24-hour emergency and full care facility in Connecticut. Then in the mid 1990s I purchased the Burlington Veterinary Center. I live near our Burlington, CT clinic with my sons and several very special cats and dogs.
By the way, you may have noticed that Burlington Veterinary Center is informally called "Floyd's Dog and Cat Repair." For many years I was the proud owner of a wonderful orange tiger cat named Floyd. When I lost Floyd to feline leukemia, I wanted to remember him by including his memory in our clinic name.
Please come in and meet us!
