Dr. Ralph Molnau
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Molnau is a 1952 graduate of the University of Minnesota. He has owned and operated Countryside for 11 years. He has been a Veterinarian in the area for over 50 years. He lives in Waconia with his wife Mary. His hobbies include farming, raising sheep, gardening and traveling. Dr. Molnau spends most of his week tending to farm animals and specializes in animal nutrion.
Dr. Larry Cass
Veterinarian
Dr. Cass is a 1968 graduate of Colorado State University. He has worked with us for about 4 years. Dr. Cass resides in Norwood with his wife Judy and their dog Ace. When he is not working he spends his time with his daughter and granddaughter. His hobbies include White Water Rafting, gardening, hunting and attending local auctions.
Teri Dressel
Certified Veterinary Technician
Teri graduated from The Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1988. She became certified as a veterinary technician the same year. She has been at Countryside for 11 years. While she spends a lot of her time doing office work, she still enjoys her one day a week working with the animals and their owners. Teri, her husband Tim, and their 3 boys live near Delano with "Gus", their 14 year old springer spaniel, and "Squeek", their 14 year old cat.
Melissa Dietel
Veterinary Technician
Melissa attended The Medical Institute of Minnesota. She has 5 years experience as a Vet Technician, and has been with Countryside for about 2 years. When she is not working she is actively involved with the Rennville-Sibley County Humane Society. Melissa resides in Lester Prarie with her husband Steve and their 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Shannon Flusemann
Pet Stylist
Shannon has been with Countryside since May of 2001. She previously worked at Prior Lake Vet Clinic doing pet grooming. When she is not grooming she is in the clinic helping out Vet Teching or assisting the receptionist. Shannon resides in Cologne with with her 5 year old boxer Freeway. When she is not at work she is spending time with her many horses, doing her ceramics, and in winter she plays on a broomball league.
Brenda Barlage
Receptionist
Brenda has been with Countryside a little over a year. She has 4 children and resides on a farm in Green Isle. Brenda enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren, farming, gardening and playing with Rotweilers.
Jennifer Baker
Part Time Receptionist
Jenny is our part time evening receptionist. She is a Senior at Central High School. When Jenny graduates she is planning on joining the Air Force.
Jack
Food Sampler and Dog Teaser
Jack has been with Countryside for 11 years. He lives with us here at the clinic and loves to sample our products and has perfected opening bags of food. Jack enjoys seeing how many times a day he can get the clients to ask "Can this Cat go outside".
Sheba
Sheepherder in training
Sheba is Countryside's new addition to our little family. Sheba is Dr. Molnau's border collie puppy. Dr. Molanu is very excited to start training her to help him herd his sheep. She is very friendly and loves to greet and say hello to everyone who comes to Countryside.
