Dr Ron Lee
Partner and Veterinarian
Ron Lee was born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma and Kansas. Paul Evans, his vocational agriculture teacher in Perkins, Oklahoma, had a great influence on his becoming a veterinarian.
Graduating from Campus High School in Haysville, Ks. in 1968, he then attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, majoring in pre-veterinary medicine. After 2 years of pre-veterinary studies he was admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a BS and DVM degree in 1974.
Dr. Lee worked for 1 year at Pryor Veterinary Clinic, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He then set up his own practice, Eudora Animal Hospital, in July, 1975. He enjoyed large animal medicine very much, and especially the relationships he had with his farmer clients.
In 1989, the practice moved to its present location on Hiway 10 just south of Eudora. Dr. Lee limits his time to small animals at this time and leaves the cattle and horse work to his partners, Dr. Schreiner and Dr. Haggard. When he is not busy at the clinic, he enjoys flyfishing and competitive horseshoe pitching.
