Staff Members

Dr. Karla McCloud

Owner and Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. McCloud is a 1996 Kansas State graduate and owner of the clinic. She is a member of the AVMA, Kansas VMA, Missouri VMA and Brevard County VMA.

She has a 5 year old Great Dane and 2 housecats. The cats have been with Dr. McCloud for 17 years and are doing well. Moss, the Dane, loves to spend time at AHCB and is the official greeter. Her newest addition, Louie, is a pitbull with more energy than any dog should have; he loves everyone.

Loren Cox

Veterinary Technician

Loren has been working with animals since she was 12 years old. She has been an accomplished horse trainer for the last four years and has been working in the veterinary field for the last two years.

She has a 4 year old Rottweiller named Roxie. And a Boxer named "Quincy".

Megan Payne

Veterinary Technician

Megan has been in the veterinary field for two years since leaving the Navy. She is a Florida native from the Melbourne area.

She has three housecats, a Springer Spaniel named Sammy, a Dane named "Cole" and two bearded dragons. Megan is also the supplier of our most active AHCB clinic cat, Sinatra.

Julie Finch

Receptionist

In addition to being a receptionist, Julie also does Pet Sitting. She is also in the radiology program at BCC.

Amy Hall

Veterinary Technician

She has 2 Cocker Spaniels and 3 cats. Stop by to see her favorite kitty "Sully". She oversees the kennels currently but she is attending BCC to become a Certified Technician

Jen Krysinel

Receptionist

Jen is our newest receptionist. She has never worked in the veterinary field before, but she is learning very quickly.
Her outging spirit and wonderful personality will always leave you with a smile.
