ABOUT US Alamo Animal Hospital was founded in 1972 by Dr. John C. Andersen with a dual purpose: to provide the best possible care to pets and piece of mind to their owners. We have always strived to build and maintain a reputation for excellence and satisfaction amongst our customers, and are extremely proud of the results. For 28 years now, we have been helping to keep the pets of the Alamo community healthy and happy. We maintain a modern, well-equipped surgical suite and extensive in-house laboratory. Preventive medicine is practiced and recommended to our clients and their pets. Dr. Andersen is board-certified in Oncology and welcomes all referrals from other veterinarians all over the Bay area. Dr. Atwater's specialty is also Oncology. We believe that it is through communicating with you, the pet owner, that we can both work together to give your pet a happy and healthy home environment.
