ABOUT US Here at Altos Veterinary Clinic, we pride ourselves in being a place where genuine care, comfort and quality veterinary medicine is our highest mission. We strive to provide the finest client service, a kind word, and a positive additude in all our communication, and to do this in a compassionate and family oriented manner. We believe that the best practice experience celebrates a love of pets and people, instills a sense of well being and honors the best in each of our clients. We recognize that each pet is unique and we treat them that way. Altos Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1978 in Aurora by Dr. Delio Tamayo. Dr. Tamara White joined the clinic in 2005, then in 2009, she purchase the clinic from Dr. Tamayo. Together they continued to build on Dr. Tamayo's vision of being the finest veterinary pracitce in Aurora. In August of 2010, Dr Delio Tamayo decided to retire, so Dr. White hired on a wonderful new associate, Dr Danielle Straatmann, who shares in Dr. Tamayo and Dr. White's passion for veterinary medicine. Dr. White, Dr. Straatmann and their staff have continued the traditions that Dr. Tamayo started years ago and look forward to serving the needs of you and your pets. Both Dr. White and Dr. Straatmann are affiliated with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) & Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society (DAVMS). We believe that it is through close communication with you, the pet owner, and quality preventative care that we can help give your pet a happy and healthy life.
