Dr. Bascharon joined our practice in 1972. He has over 35 years of continual experience and consults with our team of Doctors to provide the best care for your pet. His special areas of interest are Exotic Pet Medicine, major / minor surgical procedures and Ultrasound Diagnostics.
Dr. Donna Novak
Chief Medical Staff, DVM
Dr. Novak has been with our Hospital since graduation from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Her special areas of interest include a variety of exotic pets, especially Rabbits and Surgery/ Medicine of Dogs and Cats. Dr. Novak is married and the mother of two children, a golden retriever and a tabby cat.
Dr. James Bascharon
Associate, DVM
Dr. James graduated from St. Georges University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, performing clinical study at the University of Illinois. Special interests include advanced surgeries, ultrasound imaging, and canine/feline medicine, as well as puppy and kitten care. Dr. James has been working at Ambassador Animal Hospital since highschool and has a passion for caring for animals. Dr. James is a graduate of West Chicago Community Highschool and has been a member of the community all of hs life.
Dr. Dina Bascharon
Associate, DVM
Performed undergraduate studies and graduated from the College of Veteriary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2001 at which time she became a member of our practice. Participant of an elite dolphin research team performing work at Epcot Center in 1997. Special interests include dogs, cats and fish medicine. A graduate of West Chicago Community Highschool.
Dr. Glen Romney
Associate, DVM
Dr. Romney is a graduate of Tuskeegee University and graduated in 2005. He practices all phases of veterinary medicine and surgery and likes working with dogs/cats. His special interests include heartworm treatment and prevetion.
