Dwight Cochran DVM

Veterinary School: Purdue University

Dr. Cochran is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and a native of Indiana.  He practiced for 20 years in his own mixed practice in west central Indiana and east central Illinois before accepting the position of Director of Veterinary Services for Rhone Merieux, Inc., Athens, GA, where he was an integral part of the development team which brought both Frontline(R) and Immiticide(R) to the marketplace.
During his tenure in Athens, GA, Dr. Cochran also taught clinical immunology as an adjunct professor at the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine.  Hs special interest in practice is practical management of the allergic patient and infectious disease control, prevention and treatment.  He serves as a regulatory consultant to the Executive Director of the North Carolina Board of Veterinary Medicine and is a proponent of effective delivery of services through the appropriate utilization of veterinary technicians.


Rae Lynn Cupp DVM

Rae Lynn Cupp, DVM is a graduate of Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. A native of West Virginia, she is an avid fan of the MV Mountaineers. Dr. Cupp has an interest in all issues regarding cats and dogs and enjoys helping pets with dermatology issues. She enjoys spending free time with her nephews and thinks a perfect day is kayaking on Lake Gaston Dr. Cupp shares her home with two cats, Lucy and Ricky, and a dog named Fawn who goes be the alias “Super Dog”.


Christy Davis DVM

Dr. Christy Davis is a 2002 graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in dermatology and dentistry; and because she is a former teacher, Dr. Davis also enjoys educating clients about pet health care. She Lives in Angier, NC with her husband Chris, dogs Sarah and Sully, cats Evil and Petrie, and Biscuit the rabbit. 


Sonja Szymeczek DVM, MSpVM, DACVS, DVM

Dr. Sonja Szymeczek is a licensed veterinarian who has obtained membership in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
After Dr Sonja received her DVM, she continued her training with a rotating small animal internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She then taught surgery a North Carolina State University for many years. She also was accepted into their 4 year surgery residency program. After completing this program, she completed the surgery application process established by the ACVS, including the publication of reach results and passed an intensive 3 day exam to become a member of the American College of Veterinary surgeons. Dr. Sonja is also trained in PennHIP radiographs.

Dr. Sonja lives in Cary, NC with her husband and 3 daughters. They have 3 pets: PoodleOodle, Puff and Cutie Pie.
