Dr. Kristine Sands
Owner and Vet
Dr. Sands went to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology before attending veterinary school at North Carolina State University to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She graduated in 1992, and practiced in North Carolina for 2 years before moving to Florida. She purchased the Apopka Veterinary Clinic in 1995. She lives happily in Apopka with her many furry children. She enjoys nature and hiking with her dogs as well as yoga and racquetball.
Sunshine
Office Manager
Sunshine is a native Apopkan. She joined the practice in 1999, and is a valuable member of our management team. She lives in Apopka with her husband and daughter.
Donna
Veterinary Technician
Donna is a native Apopkan who has worked for the Apopka Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years. She is our head technician, and is quite knowledgeable about pet care and our community.
Bunni
Veterinary Technician
Bunni is one of our full time technicians who joined the practice in 2001. She is an excellent technician and is available to answer all of your questions about pet care.
Renee
Veterinary Assistant
Renee can be found working in the kennel and assisting the doctor with patients as well as at the front desk. She is always eager to help in anyway she can and always has a smile. She lives in Apopka with her daughter and husband.
Samantha
Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician
Samantha is one of our newest members and can be found assisting the doctor with patients as well as taking care of our kenneled pets. Samantha is eager to help in anyway and always has a pleasant smile.
