Dr. Marcie L. Engel
Veterinarian
Dr. Engel is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Engel graduated from Northwood High School and then received her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She then graduated in 1988 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Engel and her husband share a home with Calvin and Archie - the Standard Poodles, Benny and Carlos - the cats, and Green - the bird.
Dr. Engel purchased the practice in 1998 and has built a well respected hospital. In December, 2000 the Brookeville Animal Hospital was listed as one of the best veterinary hospitals in Maryland in Washingtonian Magazine.
Dr. Laura Kane
Veterinarian
Dr. Kane graduated from Linganore High School in Frederick County, Maryland. She later attended Hood College and went on to study veterinary medicine at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where she graduated in 1990. She has resided in Germantown, Maryland, since 1990 with her pet, Crickett, her cat.
Dr. Sharon A. Milza
Veterinarian
Dr. Milza has worked with Dr. Engel since 1999. She attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 1994. Dr. Milza works several days a week performing surgical procedures. Previously she worked at the Baltimore Animal Shelter where she spayed and neutered over 5,000 pets. She and her husband share their home with their two children, Nicholas and Lydia, and their dog, Phoebe.
