Dr. Derek A. Shubin
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr Shubin earned his Veterinary Degree from Colorado State University after serving in the Marine Corps for 5 1/2 years as a helpicopter pilot and having flown in Viet Nam.  He left the Marine Corps to persue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He was a veterinarian in California for twelve years before being able to return to his home state of Colorado and opening Crossroads Animal Hospital in 1992.  He has extensive experience and continuing education in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery as well as general medacine and diagnostics.  Dr. Shubin has been married for 43 years and has four sons and one daughter, and ten grandchildren who he loves spending time with.

Dr. Craig S. Hyden
Veterinarian/Associate
Dr. Hyden also received his degree in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University.  He joined our Crossroads team six years ago with extensive experience and training in many areas of veterinary medicine to include ortopedic surgery.

Cindy has been with Crossroads for more than fourteen years.

Head Receptionist
Tina has joined us after returning to Colorado Springs.  She looks forward to meeting all of our clients, new and old, and being of service.

Marlene
Technician
Marlene received her Veterinary Technician Certification after spending many years working in the computer field.  She came to us with four years of vet. tech experience and is a wonderful addition and we are thrilled to have her at Crossroads.
