Dr. White first began his career at Cummings Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant to Dr. Cummings. From that experience, he decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. White returned to work with Dr. Cummings and later bought the hospital when Dr. Cummings retired.
Dr. White is a dedicated family man. He has been married to his wife, Cheryl, for 12 years and has three children: six year old Ashley, two year old Barham and one year old Zachary.
Sara Groan, DVM
Veterinarian, DVM
Graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine 2001
Following graduation, Dr. Groan chose to accept the offer to work for Cummings Veterinary Hospital because of the quality and high standard of care offered to the clients and patients.
Kiley
Receptionist
Kiley has been with our hospital for nearly six years. She is friendly, outgoing, responsible, and compassionate. In addition to her normal receptionist duties, Kiley is responsible for accounts receivable and collections. Feel free to ask her any questions; she is always ready to help!
Jeannie
Receptionist
Jeannie has a great sense of humor and helps to maintain the high-spirited atmosphere of our hospital. She is very dedicated to her duties as a receptionist and is happy to assist clients in any way possible.
Alison
Receptionist
Alison is the most recent addition to our team. She moved to Monroe from Texas. Alison has been quick to learn her receptionist duties and fits in nicely with our team.
Arnetta
Kennel Technician
Arnetta has been responsible for the care of our boarding pets and facilities for nearly six years. She is a fastidious employee and takes great pride in her work. She and her husband also breed and train champion Labrador Retrievers.
Judd
Veterinary Technician
Judd is from Monroe and our veteran technician. He is knowledgable about all aspects of veterinary medicine. With nearly thirteen years experience, Judd is one of the most vital members of our team.
Lydia
Veterinary Technician
Lydia is from Monroe and has an Associate's degree in Surgical Technology. She has been a technician for two years. She is very sweet, caring and extremely intelligent. She has an enormous amount of responsibility at our hospital because she is so reliable and trustworthy.
Joey
Veterinary Technician
Joey is from Natchitoches and a graduate of NSU with a BS in Biology. With his experience gained from employment with wildlife management, Joey is a key member of our team. His future plans include pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine.
Wendy
Veterinary Technician
Wendy is a recent addition to our technician team. She has several years experience as a veterinary technician. With a friendly smile and compassionate manner, Wendy will care for your pets as if they were her own.
Matt
Veterinary Technician
Matt has been a member of our team for three years. With his fun-loving personality, Matt is a great part of our technician team. He is currently attending college pursuing a degree in Accounting.
Tyler
Kennel Assistant
Tyler is a senior at Ouachita Parish High School. He assists doctors and team members with various tasks throughout the hospital.
Dr. Roane
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Roane is our relief doctor. She is a native of Arlington, Virginia, and received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia. With 34 years experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Roane brings a wealth of knowledge to our hospital.
Dr. Roane also trains and shows miniature dachshunds.
