Dr. Earnest Kearns, DVM

Dr. Kearns obtained his veterinary degree at The Ohio State University in 1999. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Findlay in 1996 and graduated school from Ridgemont in 1992. He bought the practice in 2001 from Dr. Miller. He raises Belgian draft horses, Shorthorn and Herford cattle. He is happily married to his wife Jina and has three great kids Liam, Jillian and Owen.

Jina Kearns RVT

Jina graduated from Columbus State Community College in June 2000 with a veterinary technology degree. She is the first registered veterinary technician ever employed by Diamond M vet clinic. Jina lives in Kenton with her husband and children and their cat Indy who tolerates the kids but not Walter, the dog.

Liz has worked at the clinic for about 2 years and is a 2008 graduate of Columbus State Community College Vet Tech program. She lives in LaRue with her 3 dogs, Brookie, Edward, Frankie, 3 horses, Buddy, Baby and Chauncey and 1 cat, Johnny.
Cindy VanHoose
Veterinary Assistant
Cindy lives with her best friend Dwight and together they raise Miniature Zebus, Scottish Blackface Sheep, miniature donkeys, ponies, exotic poultry (200-300 head), guineas, several different breeds of ducks and geese, and Blackmouth Cur dogs. They also have a kitten named Oliver in the house. During the spring and early summer we usually hatch around 500-1000 quail and ringneck pheasants. Cindy attended "The School of Hard Knocks" as she ran her own goat dairy for 15 years.
Shelly Dunson

Shelly has been at the clinic since January of 2005. She lives in Kenton with her dog Smiley, and her cats Pickles and Eugene. She also has several outdoor cats named, Louie, Sadie, Fluff, Callie, Boots and Bullet. She enjoys working with animals.

Ashlee is currently attending an online university to obtain her Associates Degree as a Veterinary Technician. She will graduate in 2010. She has worked at the clinic for a little over 4 years. She currently lives in Kenton with her 2 cats, Lola and Luda and her dog, Brylee.
Emily Ledley
Office Manager
Emily lives in Kenton with her boyfriend, her 4 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoys working with horses. She attended Lima Technical College and obtained her Associates Degree in 1996.
Emily Stapleton

Emily grew up in Ridgeway. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Kentucky University in 1998, she minored in English with an Area of Concentration in Chemistry. She met her husband, Ken while in college. In 2003 Emily and Ken moved back to Hardin County where they completed the building of their brand new house in late 2005. They have 2 children Elijah and Kennedy. They also have 1 cat and 2 very crazy dogs.

Olivia will graduate from Ridgemont High School in the summer of 2009. She is a PSEO student at James A. Rhodes State College from 2007-2009. She will be attending Columbus State Community College from 2009-2011 majoring in Veterinary Technology. She currently lives at home with her parents, Thomas and Lilliam Ledley. She has an older brother named Corey. She lives on a 1,500 acre Holstein Dairy farm and they milk 160 cows daily. She has 4 outdoor cats named Furby, Garfield, Sylvester and Rafiki, 3 outdoor dogs named Cocoa, Lucky and Max. She also has one indoor cat named Precious. She is currently the 2008-2009 FFA President for Ridgemont Schools.
