 Hospital Administrator

We have a wonderful and talented staff.  They
engage their talents in many ways, both seen
and unseen (see below.)  The staff enjoy working
here with friendly clients and staff members, a
learning environment focused on client education,
a park setting with grassy areas to walk the dogs,
and ample room inside for staff, clients, and
their favorite pets.

We work by appointment to give our
staff the opportunity to give our
clients the utmost care and attention.

  Employment Opportunities and Positions Available

Our friendly hospital is growing.  From time to time we have employment opportunities available.  These are a mix of established and growth positions.  When applying for these positions please let us know you did your research on our company and found information on our website.  All positions are subject to drug testing.  Ability to understand and follow instructions is   very   important -- many candidates distinguish themselves by demonstrating these skills in their  cover letter  sent by US Mail with their resume. (Please mark your letter Attn:  Hospital administrator.)   Smiles, skills, sincerity, and Saturdays are required for these team-oriented positions.

► Veterinarian  --  All current positions are filled  --  We continue to grow and will likely have a growth position for a PT/poss FT veterinarian in the future.  Our veterinarians orchestrate the delivery of patient care and client education to provide optimum care based on the owner's concurrence. These veterinarians use their full range of skills including:  diagnosing companion animal health problems, vaccinating against diseases, medicating animals suffering from infections or illnesses, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, advocating for the patient, and advising owners about animal life cycle, disease, feeding, behavior, and breeding.  Current OH veterinary license required.  Send  cover  letter  and resume, highlighting any special veterinary interests, by US mail in confidence.

 >  Registered Veterinary Technician  --  open, established position  --   Our RVTs are key players on the health care provider team supporting the delivery of patient care, providing client education, and helping make the team run effectively and efficiently.  These positions provide an opportunity to use a full range of veterinary technician skills including:   surgery prep and assisting, anesthesia, radiology, laboratory, dental cleaning, nursing, out-patient services, and client education.  Current OH veterinary technician registration required.  Must have good people and communication skills. Send  cover  letter  and resume by US mail in confidence.

► Veterinary Assistant  --  All current positions are filled  --  Our veterinary assistants have client service experience at this hospital and have shown an interest in being on a development track to become a veterinary technician / veterinarian.  Existing assistants (assistants in-training) work as Exam / Pharmacy Assistants (EPAs) and Surgery / Treatment / Exam / Pharmacy (STEP) Assistants.  New candidates should have demonstrated abilities in college-level math and life science courses, an aptitude consistent with becoming a veterinary technician or veterinarian, and an ability to work both in a diverse scientific team environment as well as a client services environment.  Must have good people and communication skills.  Please note:  we do not recognize any "Veterinary Assistant Certificates."  Apply by showing an interest in growing from a CSA position (see below.)

► Client Services Associate  --  All current positions are filled   --   Our CSAs choreograph the flow of clients and patients into and out of the hospital.  They use a full range of client service skills including:   greeting and working with clients, managing computerized records and conducting other office tasks, receiving payments, assisting veterinarians and staff members, handling and walking animals, providing care and comfort to pets, learning client education presentations, helping clients learn about their pets, and cleaning.  Must have good people and communication skills and be able to handle a busy patient load while maintaining a good sense of humor.  Send  cover  letter  and resume by US mail in confidence.

 >  Client Services Associate ( Seasonal )   --  open, established position  --  We are considering hiring a person to work seasonally as a CSA (See description above.)  The work will tentatively begin in early  May  and end in August (summer semester).  This is a part-time position -- our seasonal positions were/are filled by students who have expressed an interest in a career in veterinary medicine or related field.  Future positions are open to pre-vet,  veterinary technician, or related field students. (See Services section.) Those interested in the upcoming season should send a  cover  letter   and a  resume  by  US mail.
