Dr. Dixie Brown
Veterinarian, DVM
Hello, my name is Dr. Dixie Brown. My Animal Science degree was from the University of Nevada, Reno and my veterinary degree was from Ohio State University. Prior to veterinary school, I had been a professional animal trainer in Hollywood California, working in the television and film industry for more than 14 years. As a single parent, I worked three jobs to put myself through veterinary school and am now a proud parent of a sailor serving aboard the U.S. Navy Submarine, Greenville. As some of you have already heard, my interests are in Dermatology, Emergency/critical care, Internal and Preventive medicine. I have had a very active and exciting life, and now am equally excited to settle down and practice good quality veterinary medicine in a beautiful clinic where the patient comes first.
I feel very blessed to have been able to fulfill the dream of becoming a Veterinarian and look forward to managing this practice and caring for your pets. They are family members, not numbers. They are good friends, not objects. I look forward to being "Your other family doctor!"
