Dr. Kris Nelson

Doctor Kris Nelson grew up on a cattle and swine farm in southern Minnesota.  She completed her bachelors degree in biology at Luther college in 1991 and a masters degree in biology at Drake University in 1993.  She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and has practiced at the Dr. Kris NelsonFarmington Veterinary Clinic ever since.  Her special interests at the clinic include small animal medicine and surgery as well as farm animal medicine and surgery.  She enjoys the friendly personal attention that Farmington veterinary clinic has to offer.

In her time away from the clinic Dr. Kris enjoys quilting, SCUBA diving, gardening and traveling.  Her best friends include Dasiy an 11 year old black and white Last Hope rescue, Cricket a 2 year old yorkipoo, an old black lab Sadie and Mark a plumber and Farmington volunteer Firefighter.

Ann

My name is Ann. I’ve worked at the Farmington Vet Clinic for 6 ½ years. I am a receptionist here at the clinic.Ann I love animals and one of the most satisfying things is seeing a dog or cat go home better after coming in sick.

I have had dogs and cats all my life. I now have a cat named Belle and one named Turbo.

I enjoy reading, walking and woodcarving.

Linda

My name is Linda, I have worked at the Farmington Vet Clinic for 10 years I love working at Lindathe clinic because every day is different.

We have a hobby farm with a horse, donkey, ducks, rabbits, exotic chickens, and a lonely peacock. I also rescue pot belly pigs. I have 3 that all have very sad stories. I also have two house cats, Abby and Shampoo.

My hobby is doing stained glass. I have also started doing pets ashes in stepping stones

Angie

Hi, my name is Angie and I have been a part of the Farmington Veterinary Clinic since April of 2006. I graduated and received my Associate of Applied Science degree from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1997 and became a certified veterinary technician that same year. I live here in Farmington and own two boxers, Sofie and Layla, and three cats, Monte, Smithers and Wiggum. In my spare time I enjoy exercising with my two crazy boxers, hanging out with friends and remodeling my house.



Kristy
My name is Kristy and I have worked at the Farmington Vet Clinic since 2003. I have worked as a vet tech since 1995 and I love my job! I have 3 dogs; Belle, a 10 year old Sheltie, Kira, a 7 year old Golden Retriever and BailyKristy, a 1 year old chocolate Lab. I also have a 9 year old long haired Calico cat named Jellybeans and a 6 year old short haired Grey and white tabby named Josie. I enjoy my new found hobby of my 2 aquariums and my off time with my family.


Melissa
Melissa began working at Farmington Vet Clinic in February 2008. She earned an AAS Degree in MelissaVeterinary Clinical Assisting from Globe College in 2003. She owned and operated a small hobby kennel for 5 years. She grew up in Farmington and still lives there with her husband and their daughter. She also breeds Labrador Retrievers and has 4 of her own, Farley, Meg, Mallee and Drake In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, participating in field trials, and photography

Olga

Olga has worked at the Farmington Vet Clinic as of February 2008. She is currently attending Argosy University Olgaand will be graduating in October with an associate degree in veterinary technology. Olga moved to the Farmington area in December of 2007. She enjoys spending time with her family and likes to paint. Currently she has one cockatiel named Zazoo.



Groomer
Lynne
Lynne has been grooming dogs and cats for over 20 years and still loves doing it.  She does Lynneeverything from hair cuts and baths to plucking ears and clipping nails. She is able to groom any type of temperament, sometimes with the help of sedation.  Lynne is at the veterinary clinic three days a week.  The rest of her time is spent taking care of her animals or with her kids and her new grandbaby.
