Dr. Kent Forney and the rest of the FAC team of the Forney Animal Center are proud to offer our clients and patients the best and most advanced pet care facilities available. Whether it's for a routine examination, serious health issues, or for the treatment of an injury; when you bring your pet to us you can count on all of our dedicated team treating your pet like one of their own. We here at Forney Animal Center know what your pet means to you and your family - and will work with you to provide the best possible care.

We emphasize preventive LIFE STAGE wellness care and offer state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound with 'Real Time' telemedicine, radiology, and laser surgery. Dr. Forney and the other veterinarians on staff, work together to provide you with the latest advances in veterinary medicine.

Founded in 1987, it has been the mission of the Forney Animal Center to be "dedicated to the wellness of your pet." Our entire team works together, from the moment you step into the clinic, to make your visit as comfortable and efficient for both you and your animal. We are affiliated with the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), and the NVMA (Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association).

In 1993, the Nebraska State Veterinary Technician Association named Dr. Forney Veterinarian of the Year. He was presented the President's Award in 1996, and this recognition was from the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association. The clinic was awarded the Business Excellence Award by the Nebraska Department of Education Vocational Rehabilitation for their continued community support by employing people with disabilities. Dr. Forney is currently serving on the State Board of Health.

Brad Hunter, one of the clinics highly skilled technicians, was named a Runner-up in last years Veterinary Technician of the Year Program sponsored by the National Veterinary Technicians Association. Two of the other technicians on staff have served in leadership roles within the Nebraska Veterinary Technician Association and Nanci Kyhn was named Veterinary Technician of the year by the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association. These organizations have recognized the quality of the care we are able to provide, and we hope that you will too.
