Arthur L. Greene, DVM
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Greene, originally from New York, studied in Italy where he got his degree in Veterinary Medicine. In 2001, Dr. Greene joined our team from Banfield Pet Hospital in Aventura. He has practiced in the Miami area for many years and is an active member of the American Veterinary Association. In 2002, Dr. Greene purchased Homestead Animal Hospital from Dr. Patterson. Since then, Dr. Greene has had many ideas on expanding the hospital, and in 2007 started construction to build a new boarding facility.
Dr. Greene enjoyes the outdoors, and spends most of his time with his wife and his two boys.
Alex Patterson, DVM
Veterinarian
Alex Patterson, DVM, is the former owner, having been with us since 1972!! He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (quite the Bulldog). He also has a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. He has three children and two grandchildren. Last but not least, he has 10 cats (Clyde, Holmes, Watson, Whitney, Red, Midnight, Angel, Oreo, Mama and Riggs), and 4 dogs (Daisy, Roxy, Jade and Snoopy). He enjoys working in his yard, motorcycle-riding and working on broken boats.
