Jim Winsor DVM

Jim did his undergraduate studies in animal science at Colorado State University and received his DVM degree in 1985 when he graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Immediatley after graduating, Jim worked at Twin Cities area veterinary clinics until 1987 when he founded the Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital with his wife Dr. Ann Winsor.
Jim is very active in the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) serving previously as President, Program Chairman for the MVMA State Convention and Board Member. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, Progress Plus Board of Directors and also on the Board of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation (MVMF).
Small Animal Reproduction Management is a field of special interest for Jim. Both he and Ann have a special fondness for the Bulldog and French Bulldog breeds and are members of several local and national Breed Clubs.
Ann Winsor DVM

Ann received her DVM degree from the U of M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She worked at various Twin Cities area veterinary clinics for several years while she simultaneously aided her husband, Jim, achieve their dream of opening their own veterinary hospital.
Ann is former President of the Metropolitan Animal Hospital Association (MAHA) and past President of the Minnesota Animal Health Foundation (MAHF). Some of the issues these organizations deal with include public education, continuing education for veterinarians, and scholarships for deserving veterinary students. She is also a Board Member of the Dodge Nature Center and the Veterinary Hospitals Association (VHA).
Other professional organizations of which Ann is a member include the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians, and Society of Theriogenology (for veterinarians with interest in reproduction management).
Ann has special interests in the fields of veterinary pediatrics, canine reproduction management and "pocket pet" medicine. This has led her to become a contributing writer for two internationally distributed dog breed magazines and a member of the Practitioner Advisory Board for the magazine "Veterinary Medicine".
Both Ann and Jim have a special fondness for the Bulldog and French Bulldog breeds. They are members of several local and national breed clubs. Additionally, Ann is a Board Member of the Genetics and Education Program within the French Bulldog Club of America. Professionally, Ann enjoys "helping clients breed healthy dogs".
Ann Valenti DVM

Ann received her DVM degree in 1993 when she graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending a year employed by a mixed Equine/Small Animal Practice on the East Coast, she returned to Minnesota to join our staff in November 1994. Her years of experience have led her to a special interest in animal behavior and internal medicine. Anns kind face is the one that greets you when you bring your new canine companion to one of her very popular Puppy Classes.
Josanne Gagne, DVM

Josie obtained her DVM degree in 1988 when she graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She also received an advanced M.S. degree in Veterinary Clinical Pathology from the U of M. Josie joined our staff in March of 1998, where her special interest in diagnostic and internal medicine along with her knowledge of Clinical Pathology have been greatly utilized and appreciated.
Jennifer Quast, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Quast is a 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota Veterinary School. Jennifer became a welcome addition to our staff as a new graduate in June, 2001. Her fierce dedication to the health and well-being of her patients has made her a highly requested doctor.
