Dr. Allison Moore
Veterinarian, DVM

Dodie Atkinson
Receptionist
Whether your calling to make an appointment, paying your bill, or looking for the latest in flea control, Dodie is ready to greet you with a smile.

Dodie comes from a family that always had pets, often far outnumbering the human family members. From horses to dogs, to sugar gliders, Dodie dealt with it all. Dodie was involved with 4-H horse & dog clubs as a youth.

Dodie was not looking for a career in the animal care industry, but J.A.H. was looking for a hard-working receptionist that was comfortable with animals, a match made in heaven.

Dodie keeps busy at home with her two children, husband Robert, and animal friends. Dodie also is dabbling with "agility" with her dog "Kiera".

Paul F. Nimmo
Practice Manager
Taking care of the client and their pets is important to Paul, starting at Jones Animal Hospital as a client first, then employee.
Paul is in charge of the "unseen" duty list, which includes keeping the hospital staffed and stocked to meet your needs.
Paul is a professional volunteer. When not in the office, you can bet he is either out at a 4-H event working with youth, or working as a board member organizing the Pierce County Fair. Paul was recently appointed to a Trustee position with the Washington State 4-H Fair. His activity has not gone unrewarded, as Paul was recently recognized as an outstanding Pierce County Volunteer. Somewhere along the way, he still finds time to show dogs in A.K.C. breed and obedience trials.
