Dr. Rick Odegard
Dr. Rick Odegard graduated from Iowa State University in 1982 with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He was licensed in the state of North Dakota in 1982 and bought Forx Veterinary Clinic in June of 1985. He re-named it Kindness Animal Hospital. Dr. Odegard is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), has served as First Vice President and President of the North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association (NDVMA) and is a current member of the North Dakota Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. He is certified in performing TPLO surgeries and has a strong interest in orthopedic surgeries.
Dr. Clay Seright
Dr. Clay Seright graduated from Iowa State University in 1995 with his degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of North Dakota in 1995. Dr. Seright made the transition to Kindness Animal Hospital in March of 2001. Dr. Seright is a member of the AVMA and the NDVMA.
Dr. Jaime Nett
Dr. Nett graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Both North Dakota natives, she and her husband were excited to have the opportunity to move back closer to home. She is a member of the AVMA and has a strong interest in preventative medicine. Aside from her husband, Dr. Nett's family consists of their 3 yr old Bassett Hound Cross Penelope(Penny) and two middle-aged cats, Mr. Kitty and Gwydion.
Jan Homstad, LVT
Jan graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota (MIM) in 1973 with a certification in Veterinary Technology. This was the second graduating class of veterinary technicians from MIM. Jan has been a true pioneer of veterinary technology. Jan was licensed to practice veterinary technology in 1980 (the first time the state offered veterinary technology licensing) in the state of North Dakota. She was one of the first technicians to come to Kindness Animal Hospital in July of 1985. Jan is also a member of the North Dakota Veterinary Technician Association (NDVTA), where she has served as Treasurer,
and was the North Dakota Veterinary Technician of the Year for 2001.
Alecia Sapa, LVT
Alecia is originally from Grand Forks and moved to Fargo where she graduated from NDSU with a bachelor degree in Veterinary Technology. She interned with Kindness in the summer of 2006 and has been working full-time since. She has a Golden Retriever named Missy and a cat named Lightening.
Brianna Forster, CVT
Brianna started at Kindness in September 2006. She grew up in Litchfield, MN and attended Ridgewater Collage in Wilmar, MN where she graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She interned at Lake Region Veterinary Center in Elbow Lake, MN with an emphasis on Equine studies. She has a cat named "Keebler" and has several horses back home on her parents farm.
Carrie Lehnertz, VT
Carrie started at Kindness in September of 2008. She grew up in Rochester, MN and attended Rochester Community and Technical College where she received her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Veterinary Technology.
Amber Quaschnick, VT
Amber started at Kindness in May 2011. She grew up in Waconia, MN and moved to Fargo, ND in 2008. She graduated with her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Veterinary Technology from Minnesota School of Business, Moorhead, MN in March 2011.
