It was a time of tremendous population growth in Fayette County and Dr. Younker could clearly perceive the need for a facility that would provide, under a single roof, not only complete companion animal medical care, but also boarding and grooming facilities for the rapidly expanding community. LaFayette Center Animal Hospital is proud of its excellent reputation for the highest standards in animal care and, of equal importance, its exceptional client relations. The staff at LaFayette Center is chosen not only for their medical expertise, but also for their compassion for the animals and their owners. In 1990, LaFayette Center Animal Hospital became an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is an international association of more than 17,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals. Established in 1933, AAHA is well known among veterinarians and pet owners for its standards for hospitals and pet health care. Over 2,800 veterinary hospitals voluntarily participate in the AAHA hospital evaluation program.
