Dr. Phillip L. Gillen
Veterinarian, DVM
A graduate of University of Illinois Veterinary College in 1980, Dr. Gillen has always had pets in his family. They now have a dog, Ripley and a cat, Horatio at home. Dr. Gillen also claims the two resident office cats you can find wandering the halls of the hospital, Gabriel and Winnie. He is a member of the AVMA and Illinois VMA. His areas of interest include: Dermatology, Advanced Dentistry, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedic Surgery in dogs and cats. 

Dr. Stephanie J. Deneke
Veterinarian, DVM
A graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, Dr. Deneke grew up in South Dakota. She currently owns a rescue dog named Monta and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She is a member of the AVMA, Illinios VMA, and AAHA. Her areas of interest include: Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Radiology, and Gastroenterology.   
 
Kimberly Mathias
Office Manager
Kim joined LAH in June of 1999. Although originally a technician for the hospital, she currently handles all of the front office duties and scheduling. While at home, Kim enjoys baking for her husband, daughter, and son. She is the proud owner of a boxer, Spike and 3 cats; Sebastian, Felix, and Scarlett.  

Jane Ann Whiteman 
Head Technician/ Accounts Receivable Representative
Jane has been with LAH since September of 2001. She is our senior technician and holds many duties, including inventory maintenance and overseeing our kennel staff. When she is not busy at the hospital, she is even busier at home with her husband, 4 children, and Great Dane, Neche. 

Debbie Viner
Veterinary Assistant 
Debbie has been a technician for LAH since the winter of 2008. Her expertise in the human medical field often comes in handy around the hospital. Debbie spends her energy keeping up with her son and 2 cats, Mister Botie and Sen`or Tipsy.

Emily Barry 
Veterinary Assistant
Emily came to us as a animal caregiver in June of 2006 and we were happy to welcome her as a full-time technician this year. Emily recently acquired a beautiful horse named Corky who joined her 2 cats; Charlie and Chloe.

Ashley  Allen
Animal Caregiver
Ashley recently joined LAH as an animal caregiver. She has 2 dogs; Max and Spud.

Ethan Wibben
Animal Caregiver
Our newest team member, Ethan works part-time while he attends Lincoln High School as a Junior. He and his family are happy to be the owners of 3 Dachshunds.
