Dr. Dan Hudson established the first veterinary hospital in Cary in 1970. As a result of its success, Northwoods Animal Hospital was established in 1987 in response to the increased demand for quality veterinary care in the area.
Northwoods is proud to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 1997. In addition, we offer comprehensive medical and surgical capabilities as well as access to Board Certified Radiologists and other specialists.
At Northwoods we believe that it is important to serve and educate the public, and are committed to community service projects such as Guiding Eyes for the Blind, German Shepherd, Weimaraner, and Dachshund Rescue animal care, WPTF Talk with Tom radio show, and school room education and career days.
