Rod Van Horn DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Van Horn received his undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University, upon which he attended Oregon State University. He graduated from OSU in 1988 with his Doctorate of Veterinary medicine. He practiced in Arizona for 4 years and then moved to Omaha to establish Omaha Animal Medical Group in the spring of 1992. He is a member of the AVMA, NAVMA, and AAHA. He has a special interest in dental procedures, as well as enjoys surgery. He and his wife Toni, a dental hygienist, have two children Dustin, and Dominique and two dogs, Chip and Snuggles. In his spare time he is very active with Boys Scouts of America. He enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities including camping and hiking.
Paulette
Groomer
Paulette has been at OAMG for over 15 years as our "Pet Stylist", with over twenty years experience in the profession. She breeds and shows champion English Pointers and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and has been involved in competitive obedience training. Paulette is a dedicated mother of two daughters, one of which now holds a Masters degree, and a son. She is also a grandma to two adorable boys.
Christy
Pet Care Counselor
Christy has been withour team at OAMG for over 7 years. She is a huge animal lover. She truly enjoys being around and taking care of animals; hers and yours. She also enjoys oil painting, writing songs and life in general. Christy's family expanded in 2009 when she got married and started her new journey as a stepmother to three beautiful girls.
Sara
Veterinary Technician / Office Manager
Sara graduated from tech school and is one of our licensed technicians. She has been with us for over three years now. Sara has many animals of her own, including two pomeranians. Sara has shown great compassion, care and skill in her duties as a technician.
Jaime
Veterinary Technician
Jaime is a graduate from Vatterott College and is a licensed technician. she has been with us since March of 2011. Jaime has many animals, all of which are mixed breeds. She enjoys working with patients and along side there owners to take care of the matters at hand.
Katie
Kennel Attendant
Katie is currently enrolled in College of St. Mary. Katie gives all of our patients special attention and care.
Mark
Kennel Attandant
Mark comes to our hospital from a family that has been in the veterinary field. Mark is a great addition to our boarding team and an avid Husker fan.
