Jacob Langendorfer, DVM
Dr. Langendorfer graduated from Hillsdale College in 1996 and from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He has been the sole owner of the Ogemaw Veterinary Clinic since July 1, 2007. He lives with his wife, Amy, and their three dogs: Tess, Maggie, and Elli. He enjoys practicing in the area in which he grew up. He enjoys the challenge of a mixed animal practice and the variety of species that he sees. He enjoys hunting, fishing, waterskiing/kneeboarding and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
Julia Hasenbank, DVM
Dr. Hasenbank grew up in Ludington, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University for undergraduate studies and then graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2005. After graduation, Dr. Hasenbank began working at the Ogemaw Veterinary Clinic. She works on both large and small animals. She and her husband Chris are expecting their first child at the end of April of 2009. They also have 4 cats at home.
Joyce Kruger, LVT
Small animal and wildlife rehabilitation
Joyce grew up in Traverse City, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. There she received degrees in both animal husbandry and veterinary technology. She met her husband, Kyle, while at MSU. While in the East Lansing area, Joyce worked as a veterinary technician and her family grew to include three daughters and a son. In 1987 Kyle obtained a job as a fisheries biologist with the MDNR which required them to relocate to Mio. Joyce worked as a dental assistant until 2001 when she came to work for the OVC. Joyce's many hobbies include raising and showing Jack Russell Terriers, keeping Pacific Parrotletts, Gouldian Finches, fancy pigeons, a few laying hens, and a pet goose. She also does some animal rescue work and enjoys wildlife rehabilitation.
Christina is a long-time resident of Ogemaw county and a graduate of Ogemaw Heights High School. She has also attended both Alma College and Kirtland Community College. She resides in West Branch with her husband, Wade, their 2 children, 2 kittens and one Brittany Spaniel. Christina enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and cheering her kids on at all of their extra-curricular activities. Think: Soccer Mom....
Jenna is a 2000 graduate of Flatrock community high school. She enlisted into the army and was deployed to Guantanamo Bay as part of a combat support military police unit. She and her husband, Scott , are proud to have been part of Operation Enduring Freedom. They moved to the Rose City area in the summer of 2005. Together they celebrated the birth of their son, Thaddeus, in November of 2006 and the birth of their daughter, Marley, in May of 2008. She also has 3 dogs and 2 cats at home.
Brad grew up and currently lives in Rose City with his wife, Candis. They have many animals including 2 goats, 2 dogs, numerous lizards and 5 parrots. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, and anything to do with animals. He and Candis are expecting their first child.
