ABOUT US Welcome to Ozark Veterinary Hospital. We are here to serve you, your pet, and our community. We believe in providing high quality veterinary health care. We take pride, not only in our excellent facilities and wide range of services, but also in our concern and care for pets and people. Our purpose is to care for the sick, prevent illness through examinations, vaccinations, and routine care, and educate the public on how to care for and enjoy their pets. We value the trust and confidence you place in us. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. Our clients and their needs are our number one priority. American Veterinary Medical Association Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association American Animal Hospital Association Association of Avian Veterinarians National Wildlife Association North Arkansas Kennel Club Ozark Humane Society First visit When bringing your pet in for a check-up, remember it may be a little uneasy about new people and animals. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet before coming into the hospital. We suggest pets be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier before entering the waiting room. Your pet and others in the waiting area will appreciate the extra care. To allow ample time for all patients and surgical procedures we operate primarily by appointments, but will do our best to accommodate unscheduled visits. If you are unable to make an appointment, a phone call to let us know would be appreciated. We will make every effort to be on time but emergencies may cause an occasional delay. Since it is important to see sick pets quickly, we will work a sick pet into the schedule on the day the call is received. Drop off service: If an appointment is not convenient for you, we also offer a drop off service. You may leave your pet with us in the morning, go to work or run errands, and pick them up later in the day at no additional charge. Payment / Fees It is customary to pay for veterinary services upon completion unless previous arrangements have been made. A deposit is required in certain hospitalized cased. We accept personal checks, MasterCard, VISA, and American Express. We make every effort to have fair and reasonable fees. Always feel free to ask for an estimate if one is not offered. You are encouraged to discuss charges before services are rendered. Boarding / Visits Reservations are recommended for boarding, which we may provide as a service for our clients. For the safety of all pets in our charge, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Animals requiring veterinary attention (such as defleaing, deworming, treatment of illnesses, etc.) will be taken care of at the owner`s expense. We are proud of our facilities and encourage visits. However we request that visits be at our discretion, as a constant flow of people tends to excite pets in the kennel. All pets are received and released during normal business hours only. Under certain circumstances other arrangements can be made and an after hours fee will be applied. Animal medicine has made great strides in recent years and pets are now enjoying much longer and more trouble free lives with the aid of qualified and conscientious health care professionals.
