David Huff DVM
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Dave Huff graduated from the NC State CVM in May of 1989. He practiced at a small animal facility for 2 years in Pennsylvania and then returned to North Carolina to practice small animal and large animal at Neuse River Veterinary Hospital in Wendell. He also practiced for 4 years at a small animal practice in Beaufort, South Carolina, and then returned to Neuse River Veterinary Hospital in 1999. He has developed several interests and specialties over the years including a strong interest in small animal surgery. He has been affiliated with ICG/Synbiotics since 1991 as a canine semen freezing center. He was the first such center in North Carolina, and at the time only the 3rd such center on the east coast. He added PennHip radiograph training and certification in 1996, and has been doing chiropractic care in animals since 1999.

Laurel Causby, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Causby graduated from North Carolina State University in 1984. She went on to Vet School to graduate in 1988. She is married and has 2 children. She moved to the Clayton area in the 1970's. In October 2009, she received her certification in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, (Chiropractic Adjustments) and Low Level Laser Therapy.

Natalie Warner, RVT
Veterinary Technician & Team Leader
Natalie was our first employee Natalie is a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College in July 2000. She has been in the veterinary field since 1997, and enjoys her profession. She has a particular interest in radiology & canine reproduction. Natalie assists in the canine semen freezing center. Client education is also important to her, especially when it comes to puppies and kittens. In June 2007, Natalie is married and has a 4 year old daughter, and a newborn son. Natalie has 2 golden retrievers, (Jake & Maple), 1 german shepherd (Onya), 1 cat (Napolean) and 2 tropical fish (Philipe & Turner).

Salena Perry
Veterinary Assistant
Salena specializes in dog training. She also loves to help foster and rescue dogs. She is married and has a 5 yr old daughter.


Selina Shwonik, RVT
Veterinary Techician
Licensed in New York and North Carolina
Selina joined our team in May 2009. She has 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 chickens at home. She has worked as a Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technican for 13 years. She has a passion for pediatric, geriatric, and Rottweiler patients.  Selina is married and has 2 daughters.

Jessica Knight, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Jessica joined our team in June 2010. Jessica is registered as a veterinary technician in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College, Veterinary Medical Technology program in 2008. Jessica is married and has a newborn son. She has a chocolate lab (Mocha) , a boxer (Bailey), and an orange tabby cat (Elvis).

Jennifer Wyman
Receptionist & Team Leader
Jennifer graduated in 2002 with a Degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Salisbury University in Maryland. Then she decided that it was time for a change of scenery. She fell in love with North Carolina while on vacation. She decided to move with her husband and they bought a house in Riverwood. In mid 2005 she joined the Plantation Animal Hospital team and hasn't looked back. She added a son named Caleb in January 2006, a daughter named Rose in September 2008 and finally another son named Jacob in December 2009. Thrown into that mix would be her dog and 2 kitties.

Jessica joined our team December 1, 2010. She is married and has 2 young girls. She has 2 dogs at home, Roxy & Puffin. Welcome Jessica.

Morgan Mundy
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan joined our team in June 2011. She is doing her internship for school. She graduated from Murray State Veterinary Technician school in the summer of 2011. She plans to take her national and state technician boards in November to be a licensed technician in the state of North Carolina. Welcome Morgan.

Amanda Bacon

Amanda joined our team in October 2011. She has worked with animals for several years, and decided to join our team to be closer to home.
