Dr. Brian Ghere

Dr. Brian Ghere and his wife Elizabeth are proud parents of Taylor, and Laney, one dog and three cats. He attended Washington State University Veterinary School. In September 1992 he opened Prytania Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Nancy Nathan. He is a member of AVMA, SLVA, and was appointed President of the Board for Charity Animal Hospital in 1999. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys playing racquetball.
Dr. Nancy Nathan

Dr. Nancy Nathan is a native New Orleanian who graduated from Wellesley College in 1982 and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She opened Prytania Veterinary Hospital in 1992 with Dr. Brian Ghere and they have since hired two associates. She is married with two daughters, Caroline and Emily, a dog, a cat, and a very old rabbit. She is a member of ACRES, the JCC Early Childhood Development Committee, and several women's groups.
Dr. Cheri Hansen

Dr. Cheri Hansen grew up just north of Chicago. She graduated from the University of Florida Veterinary School in 1987. She practiced in Boston for many years and has been on staff at Prytania Veterinary Hospital since 1996. She and her husband Charles live in Mid-City with two year old daughter Bryn, two month old Tommy, and dog Dessie.
Dr. Ned Henry
Doctor
Dr. Ned Henry, a native of Norfolk, Virginia, earned a BA in English at the Universty of Virginia in 1992 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Louisiana State Universtiy Veterinary School in 1998. He joined Prytania Veterinary Hospital in 1998. Ned is an avid catamaran sailor, mountain biker, and musician.
Beignet (aka ben)
House Kitty
Beignet is our other resident hospital cat. His employment at Prytania Vet began in 1997. The less social of our kitties, ben hangs out in his basket in the pharmacy. His favorite hobbies include begging for treats, sleeping, and wearing his bandana.(Really!)

Ziggy is our resident hospital cat. He began his employment at Prytania Vet in 1997. His favorite hobbies include schmoozing clients for affection, eating, and laying in a plant in the lobby.
