Staff Members

Dr. Kevin J. Fricke

Hospital Director

Dr. Fricke is a 1985 graduate of Washington State University. He has been with our practice for 18 years. Dr. Fricke was born and raised in the Spokane area. He spent five years in the Seattle area after attaining his D.V.M. degree. Dr. Fricke's interests include pediatrics, preventable medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and geriatrics. He is married and has an 11-year old daughter, an 8-year old son, two Labrador Retrievers, and one Mediterranean Tortoise.

Dr. Sheryl A. Blumenstein

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Blumenstein is a 1993 graduate of Kansas State University. She has been with our practice for 14 years. Dr. Blumenstein was born and raised in Wisconsin. She spent time in Kansas and southern Idaho before moving to Spokane. Dr. Blumenstein's interests include feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. She has six cats: "Binks", "Pooka", "Sochi", "Domi", "Momma Kitty", and "Smudge".

Dr. Curt A. Codr

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Codr is a 1998 graduate of Washington State University. He has been with our practice for nine years. He grew up in southern Idaho and attended the University of Idaho. Dr. Codr spent one year in practice in southern Idaho before moving to this area. He and his wife are the proud parents of two boys ( 8- and 5-years of age). Dr. Codr's interests include general and preventative medicine. He has one Labrador Retriever and one German Shorthair.
