CAROL CURRY D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Co-founder and co-owner, with Dr. Teter, of The Pet Clinic P.C., Dr. Curry graduated from the veterinary medical school at Iowa State University in 1977 after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. She then served in a post-doctoral internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston before returning to the Midwest to practice. She is a member of American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Curry has a special interest in both ferret and reptile medicine. Away from the job, she plays various musical instruments in a variety of groups; she likes Irish music and is an avid moviegoer.
BARBARA TETER D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Co-founder and co-owner of The Pet Clinic P.C., Dr. Teter graduated from the veterinary medical school at Michigan State University in 1977. In 1982, she joined with Dr. Curry to open The Pet Clinic, P.C. She is a member of American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Teter is interested in all aspects of general veterinary medicine and surgery. In addition, she provides some specialized services such as endoscopy. Away from her professional life, she loves cats, athletics (especially tennis), bike riding, and music. Along with Dr. Curry she plays clarinet in a community band.
GLENNA RASMUSSEN D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Rasmussen is an associate veterinarian and has been at The Pet Clinic P.C. since 1994. After earning an undergraduate degree from Dana College, she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 1981. She practiced medicine in California for ten years prior to returning to the Midwest. Dr. Rasmussen is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in feline medicine and when not at work, enjoys her cats, traveling, gardening, cooking and reading.
MICHELLE HANNA D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Hanna is an associate veterinarian and has been at The Pet Clinic, P.C. since 1998. She graduated from Iowa State University in 1993. She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the Association of Veterinarians for Animal Rights. Her special interests are in canine and feline internal medicine. Dr. Hanna's outside interests revolve around her children, poodles, golden retrievers, bird watching, reading, and gardening.
JENNIFER OSTERHOLM D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Osterholm is an associate veterinarian who came to The Pet Clinic, P.C. in 2000. She graduated from the veterinary medical school at Kansas State University in 1996 and practiced veterinary medicine in Kansas for five years prior to moving back to the Omaha area. While working in Kansas, she served two years as president of the board of directors of the Lawrence Kansas Humane Society. Dr. Osterholm is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Her areas of expertise are in small animal and ferret medicine. Dr. Osterholm is the doting parent of a dog and two cats and new son Cooper; she also enjoys playing golf and reading.
WENDY HARRIS D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Harris received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A & M University in 1988 and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A & M in 1993. After graduation Dr. Harris moved to Dallas where she practiced for 12 years on small animals and exotic pets. She then lived in New Orleans, Louisiana for 1 1/2 years prior to moving to Omaha. Dr. Harris has been married to her husband, Ted, since 1994. They have two daughters (Nicole and Kai) and a dog (Tater Tot). All three keep Dr. Harris very busy when she's not at work.
TROY EVERSON D.V.M.
Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Everson was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska. He is a 2001 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he spent 6 years practicing in Eugene, Oregon that provided unique opportunities to become skilled in internal medicine, veterinary spinal manipulations, Alternative/Holistic medicine, and ultrasound examinations. He has obtained his formal veterinary acupuncture/TCM training through the Chi Institute in Florida. His hobbies include reading, hiking, and cooking. Dr. Everson and his wife, Hilary, enjoy spending their time with Chloe the pug, Maggie the rat terrier, and their cats, Elvis and Mia.

TAMMY C. L.V.T.
Office Manager
Tammy is a licensed veterinary technician and serves as office manager at the clinic. She has been with The Pet Clinic, P.C. since 1983. Prior to obtaining her technical license, Tammy worked four years at the Henry Doorly Zoo as a hospital/nursery keeper. She then graduated from the University of Minnesota at Waseca in 1982, and completed an externship in England at the London Zoo. Tammy is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, the Nebraska Veterinary Technicians Association and completed the course of study in dietary management through Hill's Pet Products earning her title of small animal dietician. Tammy is very active in her church where she is an accomplished musician and singer. She loves siberian huskies, squirrels, wolves, eagles, and snow leopards.
KERRI G. L.V.T.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kerri is a licensed veterinary technician, veterinary technician behavorist and a certified animal dental consultant with a special interest in cats. She is the head teaching technician and has been with The Pet Clinic, P.C. since 1998. Kerri came to the clinic after graduating from the veterinary technology program at Northeast Community College, Norfolk Nebraska. Kerri is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians. She completed a course of study in dietary management through Hill's Pet Products earning her title of small animal dietician. Her loves in life are cats and more cats, doberman pinschers, english bulldogs, pocket pets and Barney (see Barney clinic cat below) .
JENNIFER W. L.V.T.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jen is a licensed veterinary technician and has been with the clinic since 2001. She serves now as head administrative technician. Jen graduated from Omaha College of Health Careers in 2001. She is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, the Nebraska Veterinary Technicians Association and the Nebraska Herpetological Society. Jen has a special interest in reptiles and also loves birds, cats and greyhounds.

Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jen began at The Pet Clinic in 2002 as a kennel assistant while working towards her degree in Veterinary Technology. She is now our kennel supervisor. Jen attended Vatterott College in Omaha and graduated May of 2003. She is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. Jen likes the "bully breeds".
CHRIS M.
Receptionist
Chris is a receptionist and has been with The Pet Clinic, P.C. since 1985. Loves in her life include her three cats and three birds. Chris is also responsible for the care and good health of the clinic's extensive selection of indoor plants and is the person behind maintaining the clinic's general decor.
TERESA M.
Receptionist
Teresa is the receptionist supervisor and has been with the clinic since 2001. She enjoys being a grandmother and likes dogs and is the proud mother of a turtle named "M".
CARL O. L.V.T.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Carl joined us in August of 2005. He graduated from Vatterott College in 2007 with a degree in veterinary technology. Carl has a special interest in canine behavior and has helped many clients with their behavior problems with their dogs. In addition to his love for animals, Carl also enjoys dirt bikes and vintage cars.

Licensed Veterinary Technician
Michelle graduated from Vatterott College in Omaha with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2006. She is a "people" person and especially enjoys working with our clients. Her special interests include dogs, reptiles (with bearded dragons being a favorite), and assisting in surgery.
VIRGINIA T.
Payroll Administrator
Virginia joined the Pet Clinic staff in May of 2005. She was an employee for 20 years at Keep Omaha Beautiful. Ginny is an active member of P.E.O. and also serves as chapter president and state board member of T.T.T. Aside from her work with girls and young women she enjoys playing bridge, reading, music, walking and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
AMANDA E. L.V.T.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amanda attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated with a B.S. in business administration with a minor in english. She then attended Northeast Community College and graduated 2006 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Amanda is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Northeast. She enjoys reading and her loves in life include: Sara and Izzy her cats.
STEVE B.
Kennel Attendant
Steve started at the Pet Clinic in July of 2007. He is currently a student at Metro Community College and will graduate this May with an Associates degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's degree in Security Management from Bellevue University. Steve's favorite activity is anything to do with computers. He is allowed to live in a home owned by a cat named "Oreo".

Receptionist
Anna attended the Nebraska College of Business and received a B.S. in Business Management Tour and Travel. She is "mom" to a Chocolate lab/pit bull named "Asia" and one of her favorite things to do is to take Asia to the dog park. Anna also loves to travel. She has been part of the Pet Clinic staff since February of 2007.

Licensed Veterinary Technician
Riva joined The Pet Clinic in February 2008. She graduated from Vatterott College in Omaha with a degree in Veterinary Technology in January 2008. Prior to The Pet Clinic, Riva has been employed at other clinics in the metro area for four years. Riva loves and cares for all animals brought to The Pet Clinic, but she has a special interest in the short-faced dog breeds. Riva has been married to her husband, Jason, since 2002. Together they have two dogs, Spot (border collie mix) and Milo (boxer/english bulldog).
LAURIE H.
Administrative Assisitant
Laurie is an administrative assistant and has been with The Pet Clinic, P.C. on and off since 1983. Throughout the years, Laurie has been involved in many aspects of the pet industry. She ran her own dog grooming shop for seven years, bred cocker spaniels and St. bernards, put her own dogs through obedience, tracking and conformation, and conducted a puppy class at The Pet Clinic, P.C. for seven years. In addition, she assisted with an equine therapeutic riding program in Kansas. Laurie loves dog training, horseback riding, cats, the beach, her husband and family.

Jenny attended Iowa Western Community College and received her degree in Veterinary Technology July of 2009. She is a member of Veterinary Technicians Students of America. Jenny is "Mom" to her adopted Council Bluffs Shelter dog Zeus, and cats; Sammy, Callie, Pokey, Smokey and Snickers. Jenny enjoys running, reading, cooking and playing with Zeus!

Traci is our newest receptionist and is currently working part-time. She is the proud mom to a border collie mix named Elliot.

Jill currently attends Vatterott College and works part-time in our kennels. Her goal is to become a Veterinary Technician. Jill enjoys showing labrador retrievers and recently finished one of her dogs. She is the proud mom of three labs.

Lori graduated from Iowa Western Community College May 2008 with a degree in veterinary technology. She also has a BS in theater from Minnesota State University Mankato. Lori is the proud mom of two cats: Milo and Gibbons, along with a bunny named Mr. Cooper. In her spare time she enjoys reading, art, and going to concerts.

Debbie joined The Pet Clinic family in May of 2011. She attended South Dakota State University and graduated with a B.A. in Art & History. Debbie is the proud mother of dogs, Millie, Molly, Pickles and Snuggles, cats, Buddy, Mia, Yager and has a 20 year old daughter Alli whom is currently studying to be a veterinary technician. Debbie is a member of the A.S.P.C.A. and loves all animals. Her hobbies include knitting, crochet, landscaping and walking her dogs.

Lynda has been a client since 1991 and became an employee at The Pet Clinic in March of 2009. She graduated from University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a B.S. in English and Secondary Education and minors in Spanish and History. Lynda is the proud mother of sons Mark, Blake, Clark and furry sons Rally and Samson. Along with her sons her loves in life include her 3 daughters-in-law and her 3 (soon to be 4) grandchildren. Lynda enjoys reading, sewing, playing with her dogs and spending time with her family.

Christy recently joined The Pet Clinic, P.C. after being a long time client. Besides spending time with the two legged members of her family, she loves being with her horses, cats, sheep, but most of all, her border collies. Herding is her passion with agility training a close second.

Ramsey joined The Pet Clinic team January of 2012. He brings 4 years experience from The Humane Society of Oceanside, CA, 3 years with a local vet clinic and 1.5 years with a local boarding facility to our hospital. He loves cats and all of the "bully breeds" and over the years has participated in many confirmation shows with his own dogs. His long term plan includes attending Iowa Western Community College to obtain his veterinary technician degree. Ramsey is an avid roller skater and helped to form an organization called O.N.E. Rollers which is the first official hip-hop roller skating group in this area. His passion in life is to be the best loving father that he can be to his daughter Ajanea.

Gunner arrived at our hospital 7-11-09. Gunner spends his days playing (A.K.A. being under foot) sleeping (laying on top of computer keyboards) and sucking-up to Dr. Teter (see Dr. Teter co-owner, partner) His loves in life include Amanda (see Amanda LVT) and stealing lunches (see Dr. Rasmussen).

Benny joined our clinic family in July of 2011. He is quite the lover and adores being held and loved on. He is most often found "working" in a large fluffy bed.

In loving memory of Barney:
Barney's loves in life are being brushed and loved on by Kerri (see Kerri G. L.V.T.), our UPS driver Rod, sleeping, food, food and more food. He is a current member of Hill's dietary management weight loss program, and has gone from 34 lbs to a svelte 26.5 lbs. Barney has been "working" the clinic since March of 2004. He was previously employed by several private homes as a house cat.
