Description

Animal Care Clinic is a professional veterinary practice for dogs, cats,reptiles,birds and pocket pets like rabbits,ferrets and guinea pigs. We are dedicated to the practice of quality preventative veterinary medicine to avoid major health problems. We strive to accomplish this in a caring,loving and personal manner. The doctors and staff at Animal Care Clinic provide a variety of services to fulfill your needs.

Staff Members

Dr. Daniel Markwalder (Dr. Dan)

Veterinarian

Dr. Dan graduated from Purdue University,School of Veterinary Medicine. He established the Animal Care Clinic, then located in River Pointe Plaza in the Jewel Shopping Center in March of 1994. In September of 1998, a new state-of-the-art clinic was opened in order to provide our clients with outstanding veterinary care and service and to continue our goal as "Caring for Pets and their People" Dr. Dan currently has a 2yr. old golden retriever named Tanner. He attends over 40 hours of continuing education each year. His interest include internal medicine and general soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Sharon Payne

Veterinarian

Dr. Sharon Payne attended the University of Illinois, graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary School in 1994. Before joining the staff At Animal Care Clinic in 1997, she worked at an animal hospital in Arlington Heights. Her pets include three cats and two guinea pigs. She is also a board member at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in Prospect Heights, Il.

Dr. Lisa Notestine

Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa Notestine graduated from Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and joined our staff in July of 1998. Her 5yr. old Springer Spaniel, Puck, keeps her busy when she is not involved with the Young Adult Ministries at her church. She enjoys reading and keeping up to date with new procedures and techniques regarding veterinary medicine.

Dr. Robert Ulbricht (Dr. Bob)

Veterinarian

Dr. Bob Ulbricht also attended the University of Illinois. He joined our staff in June 1999. His wife Colleen is also a veterinarian. Dr. Bob enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, especially with his two dogs Megan and Sabin.
