I began working in the veterinary field in emergency medicine and after 4 years, moved on to opthalmology work with Dr. Bagley. The last 2 years with him have been quite an "eye opening" experience. The best part of this job is being able to give the pets back their ability to see. Many of our cataract patients come in completely blind and when they leave they are able to see their owners for the first time, some in years! My other interests include horses and showjumping, as well as keeping my old Land Rover roadworthy.

I've been a vet tech for 6 years. I love opthomology because it's magical to watch pets regain their vision after cataract surgery. I especially enjoy the CERF clinics that we have about every 4 months, because we get to see a variety of different breeds that we don't normally examine. When not working at the Eye Clinic, I administer canine massage and physical therapy on recovering surgery patients. I cry every time a pet walks again. I also like movies, dogs, and entertaining.
