Description

Welcome to Animal Medical Care of Gainesville, one of newest facilities in Northeast Georgia. Our clinic was established to provide our community with high quality, state-of-the art veterinary care for small animals.

We are a full service veterinary facility committed to providing you and your pets with convenient, personal care at the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

We also have the cities newest and largest indoor climate controlled boarding facillity. The dog boarding area includes spacious runs (up to 6x6) with resting benches. The seperate cat boarding area includes cat condos and large windows.

We also provide full grooming and bathing services.

Dr. John Sundstrom

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Sundstrom started this clinic over thirty years ago. He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from University of Georgia in 1967. Dr. Sundstrom and his wife Linda have two children and one grandaughter. Areas of Interest: Dermatology.

Dr. Denise Funk

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Funk received her Doctorate from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She also has a Masters of Science degree from the University of Georgia. Dr. Funk and her husband Gary have two children. Areas of Interest: Internal Medicine.

Dr. Chris Potter

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Potter is the newest veterinarian on staff. He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 1998. Dr. Potter and his wife Tiffany also have two children.
Areas of Interest: Surgery, Ultrasonography.
