The backbone of our practice is our dedicated staff of certified veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants, receptionists and hospital managers. Caring and knowledgeable, they are eager to help you and your pet any way they can.
Our Veterinarians stress education. They take time to educate you about your pet's health; they educate themselves by regular attendance at continuing education seminars, keeping up with the latest in the fast-changing world of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Wendland is the founder and owner of the Animal Care Clinic. She is a 1978 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine with professional interests in the areas of reproductive medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Derr's areas of professional interest include behavioral medicine, ophthalmology, and geriatric medicine. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981, and joined the Animal Care Clinic in 1992.
