The Annandale Animal Hospital is located at 7405 Little Turnpike, which is at the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Markham Street. From Capital Beltway, I-495, take Annandale Exit, Route 236 East. Go to the 4th stoplight--our hospital will be on your right.

Description

Annandale Animal Hospital was established in 1965. We have always been dedicated to optimal patient care.

Our Doctors' hours are 9:00 am to noon and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to noon and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. Office visits are on a walk-in basis; however, surgical and dental procedures require appointments. Reservations for boarding are required.

Staff Members

Ross Witter, DVM

Owner

Dr. Witter graduated from Kansas State University in 1968. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps from 1969 to 1970. Dr. Witter has practiced at the Annandale Animal Hospital since 1971. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

Reynoldson B. Zehmer, DVM

Owner

Dr. Zehmer graduated from the University of Georgia in 1970. After two years in the U.S. Public Health Service at the CDC in Atlanta, he joined the staff at Annandale Animal Hospital in 1972. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association. He is a member of the DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine, a continuing education group.

Mark Bugin, DVM

Associate

Dr. Bugin is an Annandale native, having lived here all his life. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1974, received his BS in Biology from VA Tech in 1978, and earned his DVM from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984.

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, and the DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bugin's pets include two German Pinschers and one Ocicat. His other interests include marine aquaria, computers, and backpacking.
