Description

At Home Veterinary is a housecall only practice which concentrates on providing a pet with the highest quality of medicine in the comfort of their own home. Since 1997 we have focused on housecalls only, making the needs of owners and pets our primary concern.

We offer traditional as well as alternative therapy which includes acupuncture and Chinese herbalism.

Because your life is stressful too, we offer after hours appointments as well as emergency service. If its possible we will always try to be there when you need us.

Dr. Jonathan Leshanski

Veterinarinan

Dr. Leshanski has been doing housecalls only in NYC since 1997. He has been the serving President of the American Association of Housecall and mobile Veterinarians since 1999.

He has been featured in the 2002 Best Vets issue of New York Magazine, as well as Time, Newsweek, USA Today's weekend magazine, Cat Fancy, and a number of other well known publications.

He was one the veterinarians who responded first on 9/11 and worked helping both human and animal patients until 11/1 when all the rescue dogs were pulled from Ground Zero.

Dr. Leshanski has been a contributor to a number of veterinary and lay journals on animal issues.

He is a lifelong New Yorker who's veterinary education included Ross University, Oklahoma State University, Private practices in CT and NC. He takes several weeks worth of contining education classes every year to keep his veterinary knowledge as current as possible.

Natasha Gavin

Animal Care Assistant.

That friendly voice you hear on the phone is often Natasha Gavin. She helps keep the practice running and provides assistance including animal related services to our clients. These services include things like pet sitting, administering medications and even dog walking.
