Description

The Atglen Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1975 by Dr. Raymond L. Ewing with a dual purpose: to provide the best possible care to pets and peace of mind to their owners. We have always strived to build and maintain a reputation for excellence and satisfaction amongst our customers, and are extremely proud of the results. For 25 years now, we have been helping to keep the pets of Lancaster and Chester counties healthy and happy.

Staff Members

Raymond L. Ewing, VMD

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Ewing is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He founded the Atglen Veterinary Hospital in 1975. He has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 25 years.

Peggy Frame, DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Frame is a graduate of Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 15 years and has been with the Atglen Veterinary Hospital for 12 years. She recently participated in and successfully completed a 100 mile bicycle event to raise money for the Leukemia Society of the United States.

Cindy M. Buchanan, VMD

Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Buchanan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine who comes to us with a varied background. She has experience in both general small animal practice and emergency care, and is excited to be practicing here. She enjoys foxhunting, is very active in the Brandywine Polo Club, and is now looking forward to the birth of her first child.

Karen Clark, DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Clark is a 1989 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine, and has practiced in the Chester County area for over 10 years. She enjoys participating in 3 Day Eventing, is a Board Member of the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association, and was named 1997 and 1998 USCTA National Rider of the Year. We are very pleased to have her as a part of our staff.
