The veterinarians here at Barber Creek Veterinary Hospital, working under Dr. Bob Brewster, are highly skilled in diagnosis and are knowledgeable about the most advanced and best treatment methods available for your pet.

Barber Creek Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1992 here in Bogart by Dr. Robert Brewster, and we have since then built our reputation as the finest veterinary clinic in the area.

Bob Brewster, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Brewster is a 1988 graduate of the University of Georgia. He started Barber Creek Veterinary Hospital in 1992. He, his wife, Sarah, and his children Zoe and Sam share their home with 2 dogs, 2 llamas, a goat and numerous chicken.

Dianna Doss, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Doss is a 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia. She joined the clinic as a bonified doctor in January of 2000, however, she worked for Dr. Brewster as a technician throughout her school years at UGA. She's at the hospital Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and every other Saturday. While she's not treating your family members, she with her own two beautiful daughters, McKayla and Katie and her husband Joe.

Lisa Kendrick, LVT

Hospital Manager

Lisa is a 1992 graduate of Tri-County Tech in Pendleton, SC. She is a licensed veterinary technician and joined our practice in Janurary 1999. Lisa ensures that our clients and patients recieve the best possible care. She brings her knowledge of obedience training and behavioral problems to our clients. While not at BCVH you can find her and her husband out playing with their 3 horses, 5 dogs, 5 birds and 1 Diva cat. Can anyone say "zoo"?

Christine Westman

Groomer

Christine has been with Barber Creek and Gaines School since the summer of 1999. She is a professional groomer who conjures beauty from the beast. From Poodles to Chows, Christine's patience and understanding of the animals, and grooming talent help produce beautifully coiffed pets. Christine is here on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call early for an appointment as she is very popular and busy and books up quickly!!

Elizabeth Payne

Veterinary Assistant

Liz has been with us since the summer of '99. She has been trained in every aspect of hospital dynamics from taking care of your boarding pet to assisting in surgery. She's a student at Gainesville College and hopes one day to compete on Survivor. She shares her home with her two kitties - Frankie and Sin.

Jillian Drane

Receptionist

Jillian has been at BCVH a little over a year now. You'll see her behind the front desk, in the exam rooms, walking the dogs, and assisting the doctors. She's a multi-talented gal! On her spare time, Jillian house-sits for our clients who, while out of town, don't want to leave their pets at a kennel. Jillian's constant companion is her cute little black dog, Jade.

Stephanie Johnson

Animal Caretaker

Stephanie is our primary animal caretaker. She is a high school student doing a co-op with us. She's learning all about the extensive work necessary to keep up a veterinary hospital. Stephanie takes great care of our boarding and hospitalized pets!

Miranda Johnson

Grooming Assistant

Miranda is Christine's assistant. Miranda has the fun job of bathing your dirty dogs! She's super at bringing out the beauty in tangled tresses. Miranda has the cutest little dogs named Soleil and Digsby and has recently opened her home to a new rescue kitty.
