Dr. Noe and the staff of Bedford Animal Hospital have been working to keep your pets healthy and happy ever since the clinic was purchased in 1977. Our mission is to provide you and your animals with service of the highest quality, keeping your companions healthy and giving you piece of mind.

We believe that it is through communicating with you, the animal owner, that we can both work together to give your pet a happy and healthy home environment. Animals are an important part of all our lives, and we want nothing more than to ensure that yours remain with you for a long, long time.

Staff Members

Dr. Leslie Scott Noe

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Noe graduated from Auburn University in Alabama in 1977. He and his wife Sharon moved to Bedford in 1977 and purchased Bedford Animal Hospital in 1980. They have two children.

Dr. Noe's interests are small animal medicine and surgery. He enjoys food animal and small animal theriogenology (reproduction and fertility).

Dr. Joy Watkins

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Watkins graduated Virginia-Maryland Regional School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She and her husband moved to Bedford in June 2000.

Dr. Watkins has a strong interest in equine medicine. She has three horses of her own and rides with the Rockbridge Hunt.

Dr. Nina Templeton

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Templeton graduated veterinary school at Virginia Tech University.

Dr. Lora Ryan

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Ryan graduated Texas A&M University in 1998. She and her husband moved to Bedford in 1998. The have two young daughters.

Dr. Ryan's main interest is small animal medicine and surgery.
