Description
|
Birdneck Animal Hospital is owned and operated by Dr. Wayne Johnson. Dr. Johnson got his bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and a Masters of Science from Rutgers Universty. He graduated from the Universiy of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, after which he completed a one year Medical / Surgical internship in Darien Connecticut. He worked in New Jersey until moving to Virginia in June of 2008 with his wife Kim, son Adam, cat Smallweed and two tree frogs named Hopper and Frogger. Dr. Johnson has three older chidren, Ian, Jacqueline and Jillian, which live in New Jersey.
At the Birdneck Animal Hospital we strive to understand the special needs of each individual pet and their families. We offer the most up to date preventative, medical and surgical care. Our recommendations are based on what is best for each of our patients.
