Our mission here at Brookeville Animal Hospital is to provide your pet with the best possible care. From surgery to geriatric medicine, we want to help ensure that your furry friend is as happy and healthy as can be. The veterinarians here at Brookeville Animal Hospital, working under Dr. Marcie L. Engel, are highly skilled in diagnosis and are knowledgeable about the most advanced and best treatment methods available for your pet.
Dr. Engel purchased Brookeville Animal Hospital in 1998, and we have since then strived to build our reputation as the finest veterinary clinic in the area. We have been affiliated with AVMA for 13 years, as well as with AAV.
We know how much you care about your pet, because we care about them too. That is why we here at Brookeville Animal Hospital have always done our best to keep your pet healthy.

Dr. Marcie L. Engel

Dr. Engel is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Engel graduated from Northwood High School and then received her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She then graduated in 1988 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Engel and her husband share a home with Jessie and Calvin - the Standard Poodles, Jimmie and Joey - the cats, and Stanley and Homer - the birds.
Dr. Engel purchased the practice in 1998 and has built a well respected hospital. In December, 2000 the Brookeville Animal Hospital was listed as one of the best veterinary hospitals in Maryland in Washingtonian Magazine.

Dr. Kane graduated from Linganore High School in Frederick County, Maryland. She later attended Hood College and went on to study veterinary medicine at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where she graduated in 1990. She has resided in Germantown, Maryland, since 1990 with her pets Sparkle, Crickett, Granny, Zeus, Montana and Kaibob (5 cats and 1 golden retreiver).

Dr. Sharon A. Milza

Veterinarian
|
|
Dr. Milza has worked with Dr. Engel since 1999. She attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 1994. Dr. Milza works several days a week performing surgical procedures. Previously she worked at the Baltimore Animal Shelter where she spayed and neutered over 5,000 pets.
