Description
|
Dr. Julie Burge has been a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians since 1990, and is currently the AAV's representative in the state of Missouri. Our practice sees almost 3,000 birds per year, and offers a wide variety of services ranging from grooming and boarding to surgery. We offer appointments in our Raytown office or by housecall in the Greater Kansas City area. We also have handfed baby birds for sale, including Conures, Amazons, and African Greys. Services

We offer the following services in our office or in your home: wing, nail and beak trimming, DNA sexing, physical exams, blood testing, and medical care for sick birds. In our office we also can provide: hospitalization, radiology, Isoflurane gas anesthesia, and surgery. Our staff is always happy to answer your questions on bird care, breeding, handfeeding babies, nutrition, symptoms of illness, and behavior problems. We may also be able to help you find a breeder of the type of bird you may be interested in buying.
