Dr. Mark graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. After practicing mixed animal medicine for 10 years, Dr. Mark found he really enjoyed working with companion animals and their owners. He and his wife, Susan, opened Care Small Animal Hospital in February 1992 with the idea of providing quality small animal veterinary care to this area. Besides enjoying practicing small animal medicine, Dr. Mark enjoys spending time at home with his family, coaching his boys sports teams, and other family activities. Other members of the Rieb household include three dogs, two cats, three horses, and numerous fish.

Marsha continues to be involved with her family. She enjoys watching her nieces' and nephews' sports activities, local stock car racing, and NASCAR.

Kate is a lifelong resident of Watertown, SD. She joined the staff at Care Small Animal Hospital in January 1999, just before her marriage to her husband Lynn, an insurance agent. Kate shares her home with Olivia, a Persian cat, and a springer spaniel named Reilly.
Kate and Lynn have a small home on Lake Kampeska and enjoy traveling, boating, fishing, and most outdoor sports.
Kate enjoys her job not only because of the wonderful staff, but also her love of animals.
