Drs. Stacie Wadsworth, James Ray, and the rest of the staff at Carrollwood Cats are proud to offer to our clients the best and most advanced animal care facilities available. Whether it’s for a routine examination, serious health issues, or surgical proceedures, when you bring your cat to us you can count on our treating your pet like one of our own. At Carrollwood Cats we know that your cat is a part of your family. The care we provide is all about nurturing that bond.

Founded in 1991, it has been the standing mission of Carrollwood Cats to help your feline friends to lead the happiest, healthiest, and best lives possible. We have been affiliated with FVMA and the AVMA since 1986 and have been proud members of the American Association of Feline Practitioners since 1991. Our active membership in these organizations assures you that our medical knowlege is up to date and constantly improving.

Services

Our services are offered soley and specifically to cats. Sorry, no other species are treated. We offer general examinations with and without vaccinations, second opinions, internal medicine, general and orthopedic surgery, radiology and ultrasound services, endoscopy, dentistry, nutritional counseling, boarding, and limited grooming.

Staff Members

Dr. Stacie Wadsworth

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Wadsworth earned her Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida in 1980. She is a 1985 Graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in general small animal medicine for several years, she opened Carrollwood Cats in 1991.

Dr. James Ray

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Ray earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Eckerd College in 1980. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing several years in general small animal medicine, he joined Carrollwood Cats in 1997.
