From Montevallo, go 3 miles north on Highway 119, turn left at the light and go approximately 200 feet. From Alabaster, go 7 miles south on Highway 119, turn right at the light. From Helena, take Co. Road 17 to Co. Road 22, turn left and go approximately 2 miles. From Calera, take Highway 31 to the intersection of 31 and Co. Roads 22 and 70. Turn left at the light on to Co. Road 22, and go approximately 4 miles.

Located at Moores Crossroads just a mile north of the American Village, Countryside Animal Hospital is a modern full-service small animal facility specializing in medicine and surgery for companion animals. We have been at the same location since 1980 providing a unique combination of Modern Medicine and Old-Fashioned Care and Concern. In addition, we offer boarding and grooming, behavioral counseling, dietary management, and dental services.

Dr. Philip C. Hubbard

Practice Owner

Dr. Hubbard is a 1979 graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He recieved his undergraduate degree in 1970 from Washington and Lee University. A resident of Indian Springs Village, he and his family attend First Baptist Church of Pelham. Dr. Hubbard is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Shelby County Division of BankTrust. He and his wife Kathy have 2 children, Meredith and Kevin.

Dr. Jennifer Mobley

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Mobley is our Associate Veterinarian. She is a 1999 graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She lives with her husband Perry and her two children,
Harlan and Ellie Grace, in Verbena. They have 2 dogs ("Zepplin" and "W.T.") and 1 cat ("Truvi"). Besides her family, she loves
Auburn and Tony Stewart. GO SMOKE!

Lindsay Miller

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Lindsay and her husband Mike live in Pelham. She is a 1998 graduate of the School of Veterinary Technology at Snead State Community College. She has been with us since May, 2000. Lindsay and Mike have two sons, Davis and Dylan.

Jan Boss

Receptionist

Jan lives with her son Cody, along with several dogs and cats and a horse, on her farm in Brush Creek Estates. She is a 1975 graduate of Auburn University. She is a member of First Baptist Church Pelham. She breeds Longhaired Dachshunds, and always has puppies for sale. WAR EAGLE!!

Terri Johnson

Office Manager

Terri does a little bit of everything in our practice. But what she is best at is making all of our clients and all of our four-legged friends feel extra special. She and her husband Kenneth live on their farm in Westover with 6 dogs, 1 cat, 5 horses, and "Chopper", her African Gray Parrot. She loves camping and trail riding on weekends.

Cody Boss

Veterinary Assistant

Cody is Jan's son, and a student at Thompson High School. He has his own band, and plays bass guitar.

Beth Bullock

Kennel Manager

Beth has a special way with animals that is just unbelievable. She treats our clients' pets as if they were her babies, and they love her! Her daughter Kaycie is just like her, and we are fortunate to have her help when she is not in school.
