Travel Directions

We are easily accessible to all of Northern Kentucky and Downtown Cincinnati. Take the Buttermilk Pike Exit off I-75 towards Crescent Springs. Go to the 1st traffic light past the exits and turn left on Hazelwood. Continue to the end (a short distance) and turn left on Terry Lane, continue to the end (another short distance) and turn right on Ritchie Road. The hospital is located two doors down on the left, right down from Bob Evans.

Staff Members

Dr. Richard Feldmann

Veterinarian

Dr. Feldmann has been with the Crescent Springs and Covington Animal Hospitals since
1971. He graduated from Auburn University
School of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. He
began practice in Cincinnati after graduation
then 2 years in a large metropolitin hospital
in Chicago. He served 2 years in the US Army, then joined the Covington Animal Hospital. In 1978 he helped build the Crescent Springs Animal Hospital which was
voted the Hospital of the Year for best design in the country. Dr. Feldmann purchased the hospitals in 1985.
Dr. Feldmann has been past presidents of
Omega Tau Sigma professional veterinary fraternity at Auburn, Cincinnati Veterinary
Medical Association, and the Northern Kentucky Veterinary Association.
Dr. Feldmann lives on 26 acres near the
hospitals with his wife. They have 1 dog, 2 cats, 300 goldfish, 60 chickens, 5 goats,
3 horses,and 7 minature donkeys. His hobbies include being down on the farm, raising bonsai trees, and restoring old cars.

Dr. John Weiss

Veterinarian

Dr. Weiss has been with the Crescent Springs and Covington Animal Hospitals since 1986. He graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. His interests include dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine cases. He is a member of the American, Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, and Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Associations.
Dr. Weiss was raised on a farm near Augusta, Kentucky. He and his wife, Barbara,
have three children, and recently moved out in the country where they enjoy gardening, tending an orchard, and helping their children raising show pigs for 4-H. His hobbies include computers, fishing, camping with his family, and relaxing down on the farm.
Dr. Weiss is active in his church as a
council member, financial secretary, and youth leader. He also is involved in his
county as a 4-H leader and serves on the
executive extension council.
Dr. Weiss enjoys pet animal practice and
meeting and talking to the clients. His favorite part of his work is that there is
never a dull moment and no two days are alike. Every day is a new challenge and adventure in veterinary medicine. That's what makes it so fun and interesting.
