in Evergreen, CO midway between downtown
Evergreen and Bergan Park. From Highway
74 north or south, turn west on Lewis
Ridge Road. (this traffic light is
located near the Pizza Hut). Follow the
frontage road, we are next door to Life
Care Nursing Center.

Staff Members

Terry W. Stephen

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Stephen is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University in
1983. An Evergreen resident since graduation, his interests are internal medicine, ultrasonography, laser surgery, and exotic animal medicine. He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife, Marsha, son, Connor, and daughter, Kiana.

Pamela J. Scudder

Veterinarian

Dr. Scudder received her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and the acquired her veterinary degree at Purdue University in Indiana in 1995. She enjoys mixed animal practice and moved to Evergreen in 1997.

Diana Vantine

Veterinarian

Dr. Vantine is a Vermont native and attended Colgate University before completing her veterinary degree at Michigan State University in 1994. She practiced small animal medicine in upstate New York for 3 years before moving to Colorado to enjoy the sunshine. She has been certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and enjoys incorporating acupuncture and Chinese herbs into her medical treatments.

Carol Doetsch

Veterinary Technician

Carol has been at E.V.S. for over 17 years.
She not only works as a technician, but is also responsible for inventory management.
A busy mother of three, she also finds time
to play with her 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 geese.
She enjoys all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Craig V. Downare

C.V.T.

Craig graduated from the Eastern Wyoming College in 1999. He enjoys working with all species of animals and has 1 dog and 2 horses of his own. He has lived in Evergreen for most of his life and plans to remain in the area.

Linda Joy

C.V.T.

Linda graduated from the University of Maine in 1985 and has worked at E.V.S. since 1998. When she is not working and providing tender loving care to the patients, she can usually be found taking advantage of the great outdoors.

Amy M Brown

C.V.T.

Amy has recently graduated from Bel-Rea's
veterinary technician program. She and her
daughter moved to Evergreen 3 1/2 years ago.
She assists the veterinarians and also helps
out at the front desk.

Wendy Lockamy

Receptionist

Wendy has worked at the front desk since 1996. She is a Colorado native and has lived in Evergreen since elementary school.
She and her husband own and manage a small ranch which serves as a boarding facility for horses.

Sharon Smith

Receptionist

Sharon is a Michigan native where she previously owned her own pet store. She and her family moved to Colorado in 1998 and started working at E.V.S. in March 1999. She
also participates in making porcelain dolls and enjoys the beautiful state of Colorado.

Lisa Ray

Receptionist

Lisa has been working at E.V.S. since September 1999. Having moved to Colorado in 1981, she lives in Conifer with her husband and 7-year old son.

Bob Gifford

Practice Manager

Bob received his B.S. degree in business from Colorado University in 1974. Prior to coming to E.V.S. in 1995, he was an accountant with a C.P.A. firm. He is a native of Colorado and likes to spend time in the summer at his family's cabin.

Aimee Browne

Receptionist

Aimee is currently attending Colorado University and has high hopes of attending veterinary school after graduation. She is an Evergreen native and has worked at E.V.S. since February 1999. She divides her time between receptionist work and helping the veterinarians and technicians.
