Dr Jennifer Kerns

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Kerns is a 1999 Kansas State graduate. She has owned the hospital since November 2000 and is a current member of the AVMA and Kansas Alumni Association. Dr. Kerns worked for Dr. Deam for 1 1/2 years prior to purchasing the business from him.

Lisa Junghans

Practice Manager

Lisa previously worked for Dr. Deam and stayed on with Dr. Kerns when she bought the business. Lisa schedules all appointments to include surgeries and has a wide variety of tasks. She is knowledgeable with preventative health and health concerns. She has taken a few classes to include pet behavior therapy. Lisa is always happy to assist you with your needs, on the phone or in the office.

Selbi Gustafson

Veterinary Technician

Shelbi graduated in Decmeber 1999 from Kansas State University with a degree in Pre-Vet. Shelbi assists in surgeries as well as the treatment rooms. Shelbi is knowledgeable in preventative health and health concerns. Shelbi is always pleased to assist you with any questions you may have concerning your pets health.

Greg Wurdeman

Veterinary Technician

Greg is a fourth year student at Kansas State University studying to become a Vet. Greg assists in surgeries and also in the treatment room.

Mindy Stinnett

Kennel Assistant

Mindy works in our kennels. Mindy takes care of your pet and it's facilities while boarding with us. Mindy makes sure your pet gets lots of love and attention during it's stay.

Nathaniel Burmeister (Nate)

Kennel Assistant

Nate works in our kennels. Nate takes care of your pet and it's facilities while boarding with us. Nate makes sure your pet gets all of the attention needed during it's stay here.

Dakota, Jack and Daisy

Greeters

Dakota is a red and white Border Collie. She enjoys greeting you at the door and is always hoping you just might have a stick or ball in hand with some free time to play fetch. When Dakota isn't busy greeting our clients then she is either laying on the floor by Lisa's desk or she is very busy trying to herd the fish in our aquarium. Dakota wants to make sure your visit with us is entertaining as well as enjoyable.

Jack is a black and white short-haired cat. He sits on the counter awaiting your arrival. Jack will happily assist you in filling out paperwork or writing a check if you will allow him to do so.

Daisy is a black short-haired cat. She is a shy lady and enjoys basking in the sun. Daisy also loves to help Dr. Kerns with all of her important paperwork.
